Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Germany
Facilitating the roll out of 5G in Germany is one of the current top policy priorities of the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure. As one of the first countries in Europe Germany has developed a 5G Strategy in order to promote the roll out of networks, make available spectrum, support research activities and 5G trials and initiate a structured dialogue between network operators and vertical industries. The Ministry aims at creating the ideal framework for investment and development of 5G applications that will lead the way towards a gigabit society.
