EU Urban Agenda DigitalTransition Partnership

DigitalTransition Partnership is part of Urban Agenda, which represents a newmulti-level working method promoting cooperation between Member States, cities,the European Commission and other stakeholders in order to stimulate growth,liveability and innovation in the cities of Europe and to identify andsuccessfully tackle social challenges. The partnership consists of 20 differentorganisations, cities, Member States and European organisations, which arecollaborating to find ways how European policies and collaboration, as well asEuropean funding instruments could be used to provide better services forcitizens, to support European cities in exploiting the possibilities ofdigitalisation and to help European businesses to develop new innovations andbusinesses for global markets. The partnership has defined 15 actions toachieve these goals. These activities are targeted togeneralize and diffusedigital skills to everybody, to enable and implement citizen-centrice-government, to provide value through free and fair access toopen/public/personal data, to accelerate and adopt digital emergingtechnologies (such as 5G/6G) in cities, to adopt business model thinking todrive urban digital transition, and to strengthen the ability for cities to actwithin the digital transition.
