Today, AWTG provide end-to-end solutions and services to industries that employ digital technologies.
As CEO, Abbey sets the vision and operational strategy for the company, delivering consistent and profitable growth. The company has maintained its leadership position at the leading edge of service innovation and is well respected by operators, vendors, industry, and governments alike for its ability to deliver on-time and on-budget. Before co-founding AWTG Abbey worked with Takarazuka Operation (TOA) – the leading producer of public and broadcasting communication equipment in Japan.
With over 23 years of industry experience, Abbey is at the forefront of emerging technologies, such as IOT, M2M, 5G, and the future of mobility. He's often asked to provide advice and mentorship to startups and incubators, is trusted by national regulators, and acts as an expert witness in technical arbitration matters.
Throughout his career Abbey has taken a keen interest in the design and performance of radio systems, from state-of-the-art radio transceiver design to the deployment and optimisation of mobile radio systems.
