Karim Antonio Lesina is Senior Vice President – International External and Regulatory Affairs at AT&T. He supports AT&T's international and regulatory affairs team, which is responsible for advocacy to international departments of the US government and all branches of government outside the US, including executive, legislative and regulatory agencies.
Karim’s work supports AT&T's diverse, international portfolio – fixed, mobile and satellite platforms; voice, video and broadband; and IoT solutions. In addition to implementing market access and compliance strategies enabling AT&T’s global expansion, Karim’s responsibilities also include advocacy on policy matters that promote investment, innovation, and sustainable economic growth across the digital economy ecosystem.
Prior to joining AT&T, Karim held senior positions with another leading US-headquartered ICT company (Intel Corporation), and a number of leading public affairs agencies in Brussels.
Karim is born in Dakar (Senegal), he's an Italian national, and has a Master Degree in Economics of development at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium.
