Raül González Prats is the 5GMed project coordinator and also is responsible for connected car infrastructure at Cellnex Telecom, focusing on Hybrid V2x, communications, adaptive Edge Computing, and power sustainability.
Raül has over 25 years of experience within the IT and communications industry. He has held many roles throughout his career, including pre-sales engineer, solution architect, product strategy, strategic planner, product management, innovation, and business development.
He has developed Smart Cities & IoT business lines in Cellnex and contributed to their dissemination around Europe & the Middle east. Raül works closely with customers and partners to help define and promote next-generation solutions in connected vehicles (Cars, vulnerable road users, trains, and more).
Cellnex Mobility Lab in Castellolí, under Raül’s direction, is an important area used to design, develop, test, and scale the future connected car infrastructures.
