Agris Nikitenko is a professor and dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Riga Technical University. He has 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, and more than 10 years of experience in administrative positions at Riga Technical University.
He is a pioneer of robotic technologies promotion in Latvia and he has wide experience in AI research project implementation as senior researcher, team leader, and project coordinator. Since the beginning of 2019 he is involved in a new government supported project to reach 3000 IT graduates annually in Latvia.
He has high reputation among industrial sector and he has been elected in Electronic Competence Centre LEO Project Evaluation Board.
