Annika Svensson is a project manager with the Centre for distance-spanning Technology at the Luleå University of Technology in northern Sweden. With nearly 30 years of professional experience in leading roles in the telecom and IT industries, her expertise spans from LEs and SMEs via the public sector to academia. It includes mobile telephony systems, IoT, data centers, energy reuse, and cloud services.
Annika has extensive experience in managing public-private partnerships in research, development, and innovation projects with financing from, for example, ERDF and VINNOVA. Ms. Svensson is currently working on projects in the data center and 5G area and managing a project for increasing rural mobile coverage.
