Fotis is Capgemini’s Executive Vice President and 5G and Edge computing group offer leader, working with industry verticals and communications service providers for their digital transformation journey. Using the power of the 5G technology ecosystem, Fotis brings together global skills, system integration capabilities, and assets of Capgemini and best international partners, creating innovative solutions and cutting edge 5G use cases.
He was BT CTIO, Enterprise & the 5G Executive Lead at BT Group, driving the delivery of the 5G program, working with customers for Industry 5G-driven digital transformation in sectors as intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, transport & logistics, etc. He took up this post in May 2019 after driving the EE / BT launch of the first 5G network in the UK and amongst the first globally. As EE CTO, he led EE, the UK’s largest Mobile operator, to be the first to launch 4G in the UK in 2012 and the best network since.
Fotis was awarded Mobile Europe’s CTO of the Year in 2015. He holds BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Patras.
