Georg is leading Mobile Access for A1 Telekom Austria AG and is responsible for the Radio Access Network from the first bleep on Innovation Radar screens, ensuring engineering, planning, rollout and final operations. He is also responsible for the technical streams of 5G introduction. Georg is working for A1 since 2001.
Georg has vast engineering expertise in mobile radio access technologies 2G-5G including IoT as well as NFV, SDN and speaks HFC, DSL, SDH, WDM, IP, MPLS fluently.
He holds a master’s degree in Telecommunications from the Institute of Communications and Radio-Frequency Engineering of Vienna University of Technology, Austria.
