Kenneth Fredriksen joined Huawei Technologies Ltd in the beginning of 2012 and has recently taken on the position as EVP for Huawei Technology Nordic and Baltic countries. He is also part of Huawei Central East Europe and Nordic Regional HQ executive management team.
From 2016 to Q3 2019 he was the CEO of Huawei Sweden and Iceland. Before moving to Sweden he held the position as Chief Operating Officer for Huawei’s Central East Europe & Nordic Regional HQ, which manages 26 countries with around 2500 employees.
In this position Fredriksen was responsible for the Regional Sales, Business Development and Customer Relationship Management and Strategy execution across Huawei’s 3 Business Groups (Carrier, Enterprise and Consumer), in addition to overall regional HQ responsibility for the IT business unit, Cyber Security-, Information Security-, and Public Relation and Affairs management.
Prior to this, Kenneth Fredriksen held positions inside Huawei as the Head of the Nordic and Baltic Countries and Vice President of CEE & Nordic Region in charge of one Tier 1 Global Key Account.
Kenneth Fredriksen has almost 20 years global telecom industry experience and prior to joining Huawei he held several director and management positions within other multinational companies among others Siemens AG.
