In her role in Corporate Strategy Sustainability and Mobility, Monika Dernai leads the Social Sustainability and Urban Mobility Teams. She is responsible for urban intelligence and data analytics, as well as monitoring urban mobility ecosystems for the deduction of strategic premises. She also leads the implementation of strategic Smart City projects.
Monika Dernai joined BMW Group in 2007 and has an extensive background regarding BMW Group vehicles and Mobility Services. As head of product research, she was previously responsible for the BMW Group’s vehicle and urban research projects, gaining in-depth insights about the BMW Groups’ electric fleet and associated services, as well as Urban Mobility topics.
