Pierre-Yves PETTON is an engineer in Optics and Physics from SupOptique, Paris, France, with experience of over 21 years in telecommunications. He has been working in the telecom industry for 20 years as an R&D engineer and product manager for Alcatel, Alcatel-Lucent, and Nokia.
In summer 2020, Pierre-Yves joined SNCF, the French national railway company, to lead the Telecom & IoT innovation and research program. One of his main tasks is investigating 5G capabilities to better serve the railway needs and contribute to paving the way to FRMCS adoption.
