Rob is the founder and director of On The Layline, a boutique marine innovation consultancy based in the UK. He is the former Director of the Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC), the highly successful European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) marine innovation program based in Plymouth. This program resulted in the development of Smart Sound Plymouth, a globally recognized test and proving ground based in and around Plymouth Sound, and Smart Sound Connect, the world’s first ocean-focused 5G testbed.
