Thomas Heutmann has been working for the Federal Network Agency since 1992. In 2000, he took charge of the Section for International Mobile Radio Frequency Coordination and Digital Cellular Networks.
From 2005 to 2011, Thomas headed the Section for Satellite Services. Since 2011, he has been Head of the Fixed Service and Aeronautical Service Section. This Section is also responsible for processing applications for 5G networks in the frequency bands 3.7-3.8 GHz (campus networks) and 26 GHz.
